Traveling from Cottonwood to Sedona just got easier for your employees!
The Sedona Chamber, with input from employers, has created a Marketing Toolkit for the Verde Shuttle. It gives you everything you need to show current and potential employees just how easy it is to ride the Verde Shuttle from their homes in the Cottonwood area to your worksite.
Approximately 70% of Sedona’s workforce live in outlying areas surrounding the Verde Valley.
As the need for housing is at an all-time high, it is imminent that solutions to this problem remain a top priority.
The Verde Shuttle, a service of Cottonwood Area Transit, has expanded their service to Sedona to assist both employers and employees.
The Verde Shuttle now runs every hour, all day, every day. Buses pick up and drop off at the Cottonwood Library at Garrison Park seven days a week and serve all the major destinations in West Sedona, Uptown, Tlaquepaque, Hillside and south to Poco Diablo Resort. Fare is only $2 each way or riders can buy monthly passes for even more savings.
The Verde Shuttle now operates the same schedule seven days a week.
- The first bus leaves Cottonwood each day at 6 AM.
- The last bus leaves uptown Sedona at 10:00 PM for a final return trip to Cottonwood.
The Sedona Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau has provided businesses, such as yours, with these essential toolkits that will assist you. It gives you everything you need to show current and potential employees just how easy it is to ride the Verde Shuttle from their homes in the Cottonwood area to your worksite.
The Toolkit includes:
• 3-minute How-to-Ride Verde Shuttle Video – in English and Spanish.
• Short (30-45 second) video for social media – in English and Spanish
• Verde Shuttle Business Stops Through Sedona Map
• Verde Shuttle Schedule – Effective October 1st, 2022
