Get the most out of your Sedona Chamber membership! Bookmark this page and use your tools, tips and benefits often. All submissions for Sedona Chamber publications listed below may only contain business news, events and discounts. We reserve the right to edit or reject submissions that do not meet these criteria or compromise the Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau mission, goals and values.


Coupon/Special Offer

  • Your coupon or special offer will appear here: ShopInSedona.com. The link is shared in every Local e-Newsletter, on social media, and at the Visitor Center.
  • A coupon should be a special offer, not an ongoing discount.
  • A discount may run up to three months. You can change the terms at any time. You may also post discounts for a future date.
  • Each of your category listings may have no more than two active coupons at a time.
  • An image is not required but is highly recommended. The image size should be 1240 pixels wide x 775 pixels high.
If you do not already have an image uploaded to your partner profile, do that FIRST.
To add images (or video) to your profile page, login to the Extranet. You will find navigation tabs on the left side of the screen.
  • Select Collateral from the left column.
  • Select Media from the flyout menu.
  • Then click the BLUE Add New Media button.
  • Complete the form. (ALL red fields are REQUIRED information.)
  • ALWAYS remember to click the BLUE Save button.
Next add your coupon or special offer…
  • Select Collateral from the left column.
  • Click on Special Offer.
  • Click on the BLUE Add Offer button.
  • Complete the form. (ALL red fields are REQUIRED information.)
  • ALWAYS click the BLUE Save button.

Once your coupon is submitted, staff will review and approve coupons before they are displayed on the website.

To repeat an expired coupon, you can clone an existing coupon after it has expired.


Co-op Advertising Opportunities/Additional Paid Opportunities

The SCC&TB has many Paid Marketing Opportunities that increase your business exposure. Tourism Bureau or Destination partners can have their businesses or product/service featured through banner ads on VisitSedona.com by learning more about the Digital Advertising and Sponsored Content guide. Select the one that is right for you and contact the listed Chamber staff member. We look forward to helping you grow and prosper!


Local e-News Submission Criteria (sent each Friday to 3,200+ locals)

  • Download the fillable form for submission.
  • Submission must be about the active partner with information regarding a business event, news or discount.
  • Submissions should include a title, a live link, a description and a high-quality image (5MB or under).
  • Submission length is 280 characters (or less), including the title (see example below).
  • Submission is written in the third person (avoid “I, we, our, me, my, etc.”).
    • Please use complete sentences.
    • Don’t use ALL CAPS.
  • Please include the one date you would prefer the item to be published for a particular month.
  • The submission deadline is Tuesday at 5 p.m.
  • Each partner may submit once per month.

Fillable Form for Social Media Submission (1 submission per month, per account)

We might source creative that will perform better on our platforms or request additional photos from you. • Submissions will be reviewed by staff and approved or sent back to you for editing. • Include a link (URL) for your business and/or a call to action. • Submissions must include a high-resolution captivating photo or video (Do not submit photos with placed text)

  • Avoid advertising copy and imagery/verbiage about politics, religion or other topics that could be considered controversial.
  • Submissions must be under 280 characters.
  • Submissions should include a link and/or a call to action.
  • Submissions must include a high-resolution, captivating photo or video of Sedona or the surrounding area (No PDFs or JPEGs containing verbiage).
  • Please write in the third person- avoid “I, we, our, me, my, etc.”

  • One partner blog per year is allotted.
  • Recommended: 400-1000 words, including a title.
  • Submissions should be about a Sedona experience, insider tips related to your industry or an upcoming major event.
  • Submissions must include a link and 4-6 high-resolution horizontal photos of Sedona or the surrounding area (NO PDF’s or JPEG’s containing verbiage).
  • Please include the author’s name and a photo of the author.
  • Please write in the third person- avoid “I, we, our, me, my, etc.”

Online Calendar of Events

  • An event is a unique or one-time ‘happening’ of public interest that occurs at a specific place and time or interval of time.
  • It is not a product or service that is offered normally or regularly.
  • Events must be submitted by a Chamber partner and held at a partner venue or in the Sedona-Verde Valley region.
  • Descriptions are limited to 500 characters including spaces.
  • To appear on the Visit Sedona Calendar, add your event on the Extranet. Click the Collateral tab and then Calendar of Events.
  • Please fill out the event submission page as completely as possible.
  • Each submission is reviewed by Chamber staff Monday through Thursday. When approved, event posting will be live within 48 hours. We will notify you if the submission does not meet event criteria. Please keep a copy of your submission information since it will not be saved in the online system.

Visitor Center Events Bulletin Board Guidelines

The Visitor Center Events Bulletin Board is used to inform visitors of Sedona events and provide partners with a tool for promoting special, non-recurring events.

  • Maximum flyer size is 8½” x 11”.
  • Only active partners of the Sedona Chamber or venues owned/operated by Chamber partners are eligible to post on the Visitor Center Bulletin Board. The partner’s name must be specified on the flyer.
  • Posting space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Each flyer MUST identify a specific event date, location and time.
  • Flyers may be posted by Visitor Center staff only. For availability, contact the Director of Visitor Services at vlatunski@sedonachamber.com.
