Strategies for Success: Motivating Employees Through Training

The Strategies for Success series is honored to have Dr. Corey Carlson from the  redc-logo

Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) at Yavapai College offer a program on Motivating Your Employees Through Training.

How do you keep your employees excited about coming to work? What type of training and skill development do you offer your employees? Come to this program and learn the answers to these questions and more. Walk away with a positive outlook on employee training. There will be time for Q&A and networking at the end.

Free Community Shredding Event

shred-event-at-the-sedona-red-rock-jr-sr-high-schoolSedona area residents may shred four banker boxes for free. Please line up in the parking lot and remain in your car. This will be a contactless event. Place your items to be shredded in your back seat or trunk, and the Elevated Shredding crew will remove them from your car. The Sedona Chamber and the American Legion Post 135 Honor / Color Guard will assist with directions in the parking lot.

Business Improvement District (BID) Meetings

The Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau, together with numerous hotel/resort properties, have formed the voluntary Greater Sedona Business Improvement District (BID).  bid

The BID is a way of funding business-focused marketing programs to help increase overall revenue for all businesses in Sedona and the surrounding areas.

The founding members of the BID are called “Platinum Partners.” Platinum Partners are receiving special promotional visibility during the full duration of their BID commitment.

However, all participating hotels and the Chamber believe that the entire business community of Greater Sedona benefits from the efforts of the BID program.

BID meetings are reserved for participants.

About Chad Morganlander:

Mr. Morganlander serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager and co-founder of Washington Crossing Advisors. He shares responsibility as co-portfolio manager across the group’s investment advisory programs. Mr. Morganlander has held several investment advisory and analyst positions for Stifel and predecessor firms, including Ryan, Beck and Company and Gruntal & Company.

He began his career in 1992 at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Morganlander brings nearly 25 years of financial market, investment advisory, and portfolio management experience to the WCA platform. The WCA multi-disciplinary investment platform has assets of over $2 billion under advisement. Chad regularly comments on the global economy and financial markets on various media outlets, including CNBC, Dow Jones, BNN, Bloomberg, CBS radio, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, and Reuters. Mr. Morganlander graduated from Ramapo College, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in International Business.
