Register for the Verde Valley Birding & Nature Festival
With a donation of $50, Friends’ supporters will have access to early bird registration which opens on March 5. Early birds will have the first look and opportunity to register for new field trips and birding workshops. General registration to the public opens on March 8.
Amidst the complications of COVID-19, Friends of the Verde River is committed to keeping the beloved Verde Valley Birding and Nature Festival (VVBNF) alive and thriving! This year, Friends will host the festival as a hybrid event, blending virtual experiences with size-limited in-person guided tours.
Virtual Opportunities: VVBNF will host 15 sessions that will allow you to learn, engage, and laugh with several knowledgeable presenters. Join the VVBNF Facebook page for live Armchair Birding Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning.
Registration: Cost to register for VVBNF is $30 per person and includes the virtual package.
In-Person Opportunities: VVBNF will offer 15 size-limited in-person guided tours in various locations around Arizona. The spots available within these tours will be limited to six registrants and will be first come, first serve. To participate in field trips, participants will be required to drive themselves, bring their own equipment and optics, socially distance, and wear a mask at all times.
Registration: Cost to register for VVBNF is $30 per person and includes the virtual package. Each two-hour field trip costs $40, each three to four-hour field trip costs $60.
