League of Women Voters Invites Questions from Voters for Candidates Forums

league-women-voter-logoThe League of Women Voters of Greater Verde Valley (LWV GVV) invites voters to submit questions to candidates for local primary elections.  Due to COVID-‐19 restrictions on public gatherings, LWV GVV will videotape candidate forums during June and post 20-‐minute segments of each forum in July on youtube.com and LWV GVV website. Moderators for each forum will compile and pose voters’ questions to candidates.  Voters may submit questions for local candidate forums by emailing:

LWV GVV also offers guidance for online voter registration.  Anyone who is a US citizen, 18 years of age by the time of the next election, and holds a valid Arizona Driver’s License or Arizona Non-‐Operating License, is eligible to register to vote.  Voters can also sign up for the Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL) to receive and return a ballot by mail.  Voters can vote safely without the need to gather at potentially crowded polling sites.
