vc2_2018_kelli_klymenkoThis week, we continue introducing the volunteer Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau Board of Directors who guide our strategic direction. Their critical leadership has never wavered during a tumultuous 2020. If you missed last week’s profiles, visit our blog site at sedonachamber.com.

Darla DeVille   Community Affairs Manager at APS, Darla serves on the Boards of the Yavapai County United Way, Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters, Prescott Downtown Partnership, and Bagdad Community Panel. She is a former U.S. Army helicopter crew chief and holds a dual Master’s in Education Administration and Curriculum & Development from University of Wisconsin at Madison and a Master Certification in Organizational Leadership from Villanova University.

Stan Kantowski   Managing Director of the Enchantment Resort, Stan has managed premier four- and five-star hotels such as The Broadmoor, La Quinta Resort, Hyatt Regency Kauai, Squaw Creek Resort, Mission Inn and Sunriver Resort. He holds a Master’s in Education from Loyola and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Southern California University. He has been a civic leader everywhere his career has taken him.

Kyle Larson   Kyle is the third generation of Larsons operating Larson Newspapers. He serves as General Manager of the company that publishes the Sedona Red Rock News, The Camp Verde Journal, and the Cottonwood Journal Extra. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/ Managerial Economics from the University of Arizona.

Wendy Lippman   General Manager and Resident Partner for Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village and Tlaquepaque North, Wendy operated Tlaquepaque Toy Town for ten years. She and her husband owned Don Hoel’s Cabins in Oak Creek Canyon for six years. She has served as President of the Verde Valley Sanctuary and as a Board member of Goodwill of Northern Arizona.

Susan Obijiski    Susan has a 30+ year career in software development, product development and quality management. She has served as Board Chair for Simmons Graduate School of Management. She is a Board-Certified Medical Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, and Crystal and Stone Therapy Practitioner/Teacher. She wrote the three-book “Legacy of Dreams” series and is a contributing author for ‘Sedona Awakenings.’

Randy Ortiz   Randy has 36 years of hospitality and tourism industry experience  including 20 years with Hilton Worldwide Marketing, Advertising and eCommerce. Randy  graduated from Arizona State University with a B.F.A. in Fine Art Photography. He has served as Director of Sales & Marketing at L’Auberge de Sedona, and most recently as Managing Director at The Arabella Sedona, rebranding the property as an adventure, endurance and wellness destination.

Mike Wise    Mike Wise is a residential/commercial realtor with Arizona Prime Real Estate and co-owner of the Sycamore Group property management firm. He served on the Advisory Committee that produced the 2020 City of Sedona Economic Diversification Plan and serves on the Cottonwood Economic Development Council.

Ex Officio:

Linda Goldenstein  A native Arizonan, Linda’s Sedona roots go back to 1969. Following a career in bank management, Linda operated Sedona’s Goldenstein Gallery for many years beginning in 2001. It was voted Sedona’s Best Gallery 11 years running and named #1 in USA Today’s Top Ten list for best Sedona shopping experience. Linda is a dedicated local art historian and has executive produced two movies based in Sedona.

Jeremy Hayman Jeremy has been GM of the Sedona Golf Resort since 2010 and previously served as Head Golf Professional at Eagle Mountain Golf Club in Fountain Hills. He is a PGA member and served on the Board of Directors of the PGA Southwest Section. Jeremy is the Treasurer of the Verde Valley School.

Mike Hermen   VP at Pink Jeep Tours since 1995, Mike had an integral role in expanding Pink Jeep to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. He has represented the Chamber at trade events in Germany and Canada and serves on the Chamber’s Marketing and the Strategic Planning Committees.

We want to publicly thank these outstanding individuals for their service to Sedona and look forward to their continued leadership in the year ahead.
