Apache Artist Recognized Nationally in 2022

Charles Decker is a contemporary, Native American Apache artist, working with oils and mixed media on large scale canvas and currently living in Flagstaff, Arizona. He is an enrolled member of the Yavapai-Apache Nation. His amazing work is displayed throughout Sedona, the Verde Valley and throughout the nation.

In April 2022, with gratitude he accepted the Award for: Best Artist of 2022 from Chairman Ernie Stevens Jr. of the National Indian Gaming Association at the Indian Gaming Trade Show & Convention at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Two of his paintings are now installed at NIGA’s headquarters on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. Also in Washington D.C, a custom original painting of Charles’ has been purchased and installed at the National Congress of American Indians Embassy, located near the White House.
