Business Improvement District (BID) Meetings

The Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau, together with numerous hotel/resort properties, have formed the voluntary Greater Sedona Business Improvement District (BID).  bid

The BID is a way of funding business-focused marketing programs to help increase overall revenue for all businesses in Sedona and the surrounding areas.

The founding members of the BID are called “Platinum Partners.” Platinum Partners are receiving special promotional visibility during the full duration of their BID commitment.

However, all participating hotels and the Chamber believe that the entire business community of Greater Sedona benefits from the efforts of the BID program.

BID meetings are reserved for participants.

Arizona Community Foundation Nonprofit Leadership Roundtable

The Sedona Chamber proudly boasts 130 nonprofit members who work every day to support our greater Sedona community. This quarterly meeting is a benefit of membership, thanks to the generous program underwriting by the Arizona Community Foundation.

Nonprofit Topic: Planned Giving Resources for Nonprofits

Learn how your nonprofit can move beyond annual gifts and event fundraising to build a comprehensive planned giving program. Kristen Mihaljevic, ACF’s Senior Director of Planned Giving and Donor Experience, will share a variety of resources and best practices to help build your program.

Sedona Chamber Mixers 

Join the Sedona Chamber of Commerce for the monthly mixer, hands down, the best networking event!

About Chad Morganlander:

Mr. Morganlander serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager and co-founder of Washington Crossing Advisors. He shares responsibility as co-portfolio manager across the group’s investment advisory programs. Mr. Morganlander has held several investment advisory and analyst positions for Stifel and predecessor firms, including Ryan, Beck and Company and Gruntal & Company.

He began his career in 1992 at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Morganlander brings nearly 25 years of financial market, investment advisory, and portfolio management experience to the WCA platform. The WCA multi-disciplinary investment platform has assets of over $2 billion under advisement. Chad regularly comments on the global economy and financial markets on various media outlets, including CNBC, Dow Jones, BNN, Bloomberg, CBS radio, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, and Reuters. Mr. Morganlander graduated from Ramapo College, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in International Business.

Free Community Shredding Event

shred-event-at-the-sedona-red-rock-jr-sr-high-schoolThe Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau sponsors a free community shredding event twice a year to give back to the Sedona community. The chamber is grateful to the Sedona Red Rock Jr. Sr. High School for donating the parking lot and the volunteers from the American Legion Post 135 Honor / Color Guard, who help keep this event organized and safe.

  • Sedona area residents may shred four banker boxes for free.
  • The Sedona Chamber and the American Legion Post 135 Honor / Color Guard will provide directions in the parking lot.
  • Please line up in the parking lot and remain in your car.
  • Place your items to be shredded in your back seat or trunk, and the Elevated Shredding crew will remove them from your car.
