As the monsoons and heat roll in, summer business has slowed down. The Sedona Chamber is still busy making plans and rolling out programs for partners and the community. Here are a few items on the calendar in July.

As of July 1, we welcomed new Chamber Board executive officers and members. Special gratitude to Al Comello, who served as Chairman of the Board and will continue as Immediate Past Chair Ex-Officio. We are excited to share that Jennifer Perry of the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona will be the FY23 Board Chairman. Thank you Jennifer for your leadership and service to our board and business community. A special thank you to Darla DeVille with Arizona Public Service (APS), who rotated off the Board in FY22. Darla will continue to work with the Sedona Chamber on special projects. More to come on our Board efforts.

Our monthly mixer is July 27 at 89Agave in Uptown at 254 N SR89A from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Just $10 for partners and $15 for non-partners. There will be networking, margaritas, and a build your own taco and nacho bar! The mixer is a great way to make new business connections in a relaxed environment. To attend, register and pay at SedonaChamberEvents.com.

There will be a free shredding event on Thursday, July 28 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Sedona Red Rock Junior/High School parking lot. It was so busy last time, we are limiting everyone to four banker boxes of papers to shred. The following event will be in March 15, 2023, so take some time to clean out your desk drawers.

We have multiple events around the corner including ribbon cutting ceremonies and CEO Coffee Chats. On Wednesday, August 10 there will be an APS sponsored Community Pulse event that will be held at the Sedona Performing Arts Center – don’t miss it! You can find dates and times to all our upcoming events on at SedonaChamberEvents.com or you can subscribe to our free Locals email at SedonaLocalNews.com. We look forward to connecting with you!
