We love helping you promote your event! We feature member events each week in our business bulletin and our events calendars are a widely used resource for what to do in Sedona and the surrounding region.

• Our Visit Sedona Calendar is available to Promote and above members. Please review submission guidelines and submit your event HERE.
• Our Sedona Chamber Calendar is available to all members and great for events geared towards a local audience. You can submit events in the Member Portal.
• Each submission is reviewed by Chamber staff Monday through Thursday. When approved, event posting will be live within 48 hours. We will notify you if the submission does not meet event criteria. Please keep a copy of your submission information since it will not be saved in the online system.

We’ve been receiving many wonderful requests for collaboration. To ensure our VisitSedona channels effectively highlight Sedona’s incredible beauty and allure, we’ve put together a few friendly guidelines for shared content. Our primary goal on platforms like Instagram is to visually captivate potential visitors and inspire them to experience Sedona firsthand.

Here’s how we can best work together to achieve this:

• Consistency with VisitSedona’s Aesthetic: We aim for a cohesive and inspiring visual identity that reflects the unique character of Sedona. When considering content to share, please keep in mind the overall look and feel of our existing posts.
• Location Integration: Showcase your business with Sedona's red rocks as a stunning backdrop
• Experience Storytelling: Feature guests enjoying your services while surrounded by our incredible scenery
• Local Connection: Highlight how your products, services, or ingredients connect to Sedona's unique character and landscape
• Prioritizing High-Quality Imagery: Given the visual nature of platforms like Instagram, high-resolution, well-composed photos and videos are essential. Bright, clear, and aesthetically pleasing visuals perform best.

Image Sizes

The ideal Instagram post sizes are 1080 x 1080 pixels for square (1:1 aspect ratio), 1080 x 1350 pixels for portrait (4:5 aspect ratio), and 1080 x 566 pixels for landscape (1.91:1 aspect ratio). For Instagram Stories, the standard size is 1080 x 1920 pixels (9:16 aspect ratio). These dimensions, with a width of 1080 pixels, help ensure your images maintain their quality and appear clear and professional in the feed and stories.

GENERAL GUIDELINES BEFORE SENDING SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT: Greater Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau maintains ambitious standards for social media content. Let our team guide you! We might source creative that will perform better on our platforms or request additional photos from you. Submissions will be reviewed by staff and approved or sent back to you for editing. Submissions must include a high-resolution captivating photo or video (Do not submit photos with placed text)

• Please send your submissions via the submission form (in the Member Portal). 
• Avoid advertising copy and imagery
• Avoid verbiage about politics, religion or other topics that could be considered controversial.
• For the ideal length of a post read this.
• Submissions should include a link and/or a call to action.
• Submissions must include a high-resolution, captivating photo or video of Sedona or the surrounding area (No PDFs or JPEGs containing verbiage, or video with heavy text).
• Submissions are limited to one post, per business, per month except for Invest Level.

Examples of suitable topics to promote on our Visit Sedona IG/FB platforms:

The improved added benefits are from listening to your feedback and are as follows:

• Members have full control over when they upload their submissions via the Member Portal.
• More visibility for the Discount page: Sedona Chamber website reaches over 125,000 pageviews.
• You are allotted 500 characters (including spaces and text) to describe your business Discounts.
• 2 MB JPG image (16:9 aspect ratio, or between 965 – 1240px W by 724 – 775px H)
• Include expiration date.

A staff member will review your submission, and once approved, it will go live.

• One partner blog per year is allotted.
• Recommended: 400-1000 words, including a title.
• Submissions should be about a Sedona experience, insider tips related to your industry or an upcoming major event.
• Submissions must include a link and 4-6 high-resolution horizontal photos of Sedona or the surrounding area (NO PDF’s or JPEG’s containing verbiage).
• Please include the author’s name and a photo of the author.
• Please write in the third person- avoid “I, we, our, me, my, etc.”

To rent specialty sign advertising space by the week at the Visitor Center, download the criteria and reservation form and  contact  vlatunski@sedonachamber.com, Victoria Latunski, Director of Visitor Services. Space is rented on a weekly basis.

The Visitor Center Events Bulletin Board is used to inform visitors of Sedona events and provide partners with a tool for promoting special, non-recurring events.

• Maximum flyer size is 8½” x 11”.
• Only active partners of the Sedona Chamber or venues owned/operated by Chamber partners are eligible to post on the Visitor Center Bulletin Board. The partner’s name must be specified on the flyer.
• Posting space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Each flyer MUST identify a specific event date, location and time.
• Flyers may be posted by Visitor Center staff only. For availability, contact the Director of Visitor Services at vlatunski@sedonachamber.com.

✅ Brochure Requirements:

If your business is new and has a business license and permits, the Greater Sedona Chamber will help coordinate your Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
