Verde Valley Community Development Organization (VVCDO)

What kind of community do you want to live in?

  • We see a Verde Valley where young people can establish a family and a career and where homeownership is attainable.
  • We see seniors enjoying retirement and giving back to the community without worrying about where they will sleep at night.
  • We see schools advancing with a stable roster of qualified teachers and children no longer doing homework in cars that double as homes.
  • We see hospitals thriving with plenty of health care workers and businesses able to grow and invest in employees who will stay in the community.
  • We see a population that feels safe and secure, knowing that fire and law enforcement are fully staffed and able to respond to emergencies.

The VVCDO is taking bold, collaborative action to solve pressing regional problems like housing.

The VVCDO is leading the way in creating solutions including the launch of a community housing land trust and affordable housing building projects.

If you feel like it is time for the Verde Valley to have its own, dedicated housing and community development organization, then join us in our exciting efforts to create a stable and resilient community that we are proud to call home.

The United Nations defines community development as:

"A process where community members come together to take collective action and generate solutions to common problems."

That means we need you. We need a wide range of Verde Valley voices to help us vision, and achieve the kind of community we want to live in. Sign up for updates, follow us on social media, and attend public meetings. https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/sl/XQx7pG7
