International Women’s Day Leadership Awards Luncheon

International Women’s Day Leadership Awards Luncheon will be held annually on International Women’s Day (IWD) March 8. IWD is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The Sedona Chamber is proud to be able to honor past and present leading ladies of our community – from Sedona Schnebly our namesake known for her hospitality, to a present-day woman business leader from greater Sedona who has left an indelible mark on her community over the past year. Show your support by using #WomenLeading and #IWD2022 in your posts.

Thank you to all who attended our Inaugural International Women’s Day Leadership Awards Luncheon! Having a room full of community and leaders to celebrate such a historic day will make for another incredible event.  Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 8th 2023!

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day to honor, empower and uplift women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. International Women’s Day has occurred for over a century, with the first gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people.

Helen Wolfe Scholarship: The Sedona Chamber International Women’s Day event has selected the Helen Wolfe Scholarship as the event beneficiary. This scholarship benefits women from Sedona and the Verde Valley whose education has been interrupted.

In Sedona, we are proud to be able to honor past and present women leaders of our community and destination – from Sedona Schnebly, our namesake, to our first businesswoman Dorette Schuerman with our Inaugural Women’s International Day Leadership Awards Luncheon.
