Welcome to the Sedona Chamber of Commerce

This is the Official Sedona Chamber of Commerce Website.

Sedona's famous red rocks make tourism Sedona's leading industry. For over 50 years the Sedona Chamber of Commerce has been the voice of business for the Sedona, Arizona area. Through the Chamber, local professionals and businesses work together to identify, define and find solutions for community issues.

The core industry and economic generator in Sedona is tourism. Tourism has dynamic direct and indirect effects on each and every business in Sedona.

The Sedona Chamber's Tourism Bureau has been the leading marketing organization responsible for generating overnight visitation in order to enhance the vitality of our economy. Our Visitor's Centers move more than 400,000 visitors per year around the community.

The collection of Sedona's impressive, natural endowments also includes the 1.8 million-acre Coconino National Forest, which essentially engulfs this city and encompasses seven intriguing wilderness areas.  Obviously, the list of Sedona sightseeing and Sedona recreational amenities, including state parks and national monuments, is extensive.  In fact, it hardly is a surprise that the winding road through Oak Creek Canyon not only is Arizona's first officially designated scenic highway, it is the first leg of a day trip to one of the world's great wonders, nearby Grand Canyon.

Despite this land's myriad geological features, many tourists relate Sedona's exceptional charm to the fact that visitors conveniently can spend a day hiking, horseback riding, or bouncing in a Jeep on trails and dirt roads that crisscross this area, and then enjoy the comfort of  deluxe Sedona hotels, country inns and prestigious resorts at night.  Indeed, the paradox and enchantment of Sedona is the luxurious accommodations and Sedona bed & breakfasts, unique Sedona shops, impressive Sedona art galleries, performing arts and Sedona's fine restaurants nestled in an unusually rugged canyon surrounded by an expansive national forest.

To better serve the needs of its members, the Sedona Chamber has been organizing affinity groups that represent various sectors of Sedona’s business community. Representing the needs of 1,000 individual members is difficult when needs are different. However, by organizing various like-areas of industry locally these groups can come together and agree upon what the group needs from the Chamber and the community. Each affinity group, with a unified vision, makes it possible for the Sedona Chamber to not only address each sector’s needs more effectively but also to represent its vision and business interests in the Chamber’s marketing efforts.

To date, the association affinity groups are the Sedona Arts Alliance, the Sedona Gallery Association, the Sedona Lodging Council, the Sedona Metaphysical/Spiritual Association, the Sedona Luxury Real Estate Professionals , and the Seniors in Action Business Alliance.
